Each year at Château St Victor, we run a handful of hand crafted retreats, which have become very popular and in high demand.  Our retreats are a great way for couples to enjoy their holiday together but still enjoy activities which follow their own individual passions. We also welcome solo travelers, who equally enjoy our retreats as they leave having formed lifelong friendships.

Why our Retreats Sell Out

At Château St Victor, we pride ourselves on providing the highest of standards. From dreamy accommodation to fully experienced staff, we ensure that your holiday with us is one of your most memorable.  You will no doubt be coming back for more.

Our retreats have you staying in some of the regions must luxurious accommodation, the Château St Victor des Oules. During your time with us you will be pampered fitting to a guest at a French Château.

​

Our delicious daily buffet breakfasts get your day off to a great start.  Breakfast includes fresh baked good and of course the quintessential baguette and croissant with home made jams and confitures. An assortment of meats and cheeses, including some which are freshly home made. Yogurts, cereals and of course fresh coffee and tea and juices. 

 

For those who want to rise a little earlier to catch the worm, there is a daily morning yoga and stretch session in our garden pavilion or on the garden lawns by the pond, led by our resident yoga professional, Louisa.

After breakfast you can choose from your activities for the day. The activities on offer vary daily and may include art classes, market and village tours, wine tasting tours, cycling, hiking, kayaking under the Pont du Gard or visiting the amazing Roman monument itself, cooking class, antique hunting.  These are but a sample of choices we may include.

When you book with us, make sure to put in your request and we endeavour to include it in your stay.

 

Even with so much to choose from, you may simply wish to enjoy the pool and gardens or have a hit of tennis and laze about at the Château.

​

The great thing about our retreats are that each guest can pick and choose what activity they wish to partake in every day. 

​

At the end of each day, you are invited to join us for apero on the terrace, a wonderful opportunity to share your stories of that days adventure.

​

Schedules will be emailed to you two weeks prior to the retreat to allow you to make a selection before you arrive

Inclusions

The below are activities included, but not restricted to, your retreat package. The days in which these are offered will vary during your stay. Depending on availability, we may be able to offer additional sessions at additional cost.

• 6 night / 7 day luxury, private Château accommodation

• Transfers on arrival and departure if required, from Nîmes or Avignon TGV train station

• Welcome gift to enjoy long after your retreat

• Sumptuous daily buffet breakfast with local and home made delights

• Welcome Apéritif Dînatoire served on the terrace on first evening

• Luxurious black tie farewell dinner served in the rose garden

• Yoga and stretches each morning

• 3hr art class perfect for beginners or experts

• One local randonnée (easy hike) including light snacks

• One bike ride taking in local sights such as Pont du Gard or Uzes (E-bike hire included)

• One wine and cheese flight

• One 2hr walking tour of Uzes or Market tour

• Traditional Petanque lesson and friendly tournament. Learn from a local

• Dinner each evening either in the Château or nearby restaurant
